Thank you chuck, the pic of the TCS hose routing is very helpful, it shows about how long the 4 hoses need to be.

For years I searched for other deuce pics of the CTB on the sides of the block, only found one guy in CT. Now look at 'em all https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif Good pics.

So there really is a bracket holding the fuel line at the carb. They didn't last long in the old days. Very informative pictures. Thanks, Sam

I recently purchased a '72 LT1 Corvette and one of the items that I had to clear up on the stamp was the one square "0" and one oval "O" in the build stamp. The same two types of "0"'s appear in the build stamp of the 6,000 mile car. I've been able to document these same two "0" in LT1's built in '70, '71, and '72. I also sent a tracing of my pad to the person that keeps the Corvette master pad library and he verified both "0"'s as typical UAW work.
I just thought I would add that since the same characters appeared in the low mile LT1 stamp.

--------The orange Z really appears to be a very special car. Beautiful, just beautiful. I am surprized by the length of the carb studs. They appear to have at least an inch of thread above the nut. Its like Chevrolet wanted you to put a spacer in there.........Bill S

I agree Tim, that was another thing that jumped out at me. I will have to check my block tonight to see if the Deuces have the same 'O' & '0', they should since that was stamped at Flint, unlike the vin which was stamped at Norwood/Willow Run.

I agree... while the engine detail pics are great, i can't get over how cool the car itself looks with a black top... its a rare sight to see a vinyl roof on a second gen camaro these days... i like it! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

More pics of the car would be cool. Do I see black and while custom cloth? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

is that a fuel line bracket or is that the bracket that should mount to front carb stud to hold the PCV hose?

I don't think it's the PVC hose bracket, that one is straight with a loop at the end. I've never seen that fuel line bracket, nor the shield under the cap, on any of the Deuces. Interesting items though!
