Re: - - - - Paint code
Probably the code - - replace the code 0 0 in mid-68 ?
JoeC, yes this Camaro Yenko Bleu stripe delete. T-Bill your Corvette bronze 0 0 Camaro it's an SS.. or a Yenko... Very extra cool the Chevelle citrus Green |
Re: - - - - Paint code
My 68 was an SS with a May build date, I think first week?

Re: - - - - Paint code
Just like A A was the code for Tuxedo Black, O O was the code for Corvette Bronze and not a special order paint. Click here for a Camaro Research Group discussion of Corvette colors offered on 68 Camaros as mid-year additions - including Corvette Bronze, LeMans Blue, and British Green.

Sorry, I should have referred you to our site. Just assumed you'd been there.
Take a look at the paint percentages, only place you'll see that kinda data. |
Re: - - - - Paint code

Re: - - - - Paint code
James
It means the car was painted a colour that was not available on that model. Tell me more about this car. Big block????? Chevelle or Malibu interior???? Is it an "SS"??? Peter |
Re: - - - - Paint code
I saw A 68 Camaro in A salvage yard last summer with the OO paint code on it,wasn't much left of the car but I wondered how odd Corvete Bronze was. My 68 ChevyII with 07B build date is an AA (tuxedo black) car with Blue guts(737). Kind of an oddball combination I would think.

Re: - - - - Paint code
hey peter no this is not a big block car, the car was strip clean before i got it, the guy was going crush it, but i thought i could bring it back to life, so i gave him 150 dollars for it, so you can get a idea what it looks like, would this be considered a copo car just because of the special paint, also on the side of the car under the fender , i have seen vin numbers wrote in white chaulk there on many 69 chevelle but this one says( spec), anyway the car has drum brakes on the front,so i figured right off it was a small block car, what do you think this car would be worth , after a total profession restoration, this would e my forth restoration on 69 chevelle, so im getting pretty good, but i don't want to exceed the value of the car, thanks james p/s i was going to go back with 427 400 and 12 bolt
