Re: New "burnout" smiley test
I think you have to use a colon before and after burnout with no spaces https://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/burnout.gif

Re: New "burnout" smiley test
Andrew, type the following keyword to get the burnout thingy (i.e. colon, the word 'burnout', then another colon -- no spaces between the colons and the word):

Re: New "burnout" smiley test
Feeling a bit insomniac this morning, I thought I'd prepare what you've all been waiting for: the Ultimate Burnout Smiley Reference, a.k.a. the Ultimate BS Reference.
CASE 1: To use the burnout smiley in your postings for this website only, type the following phrase exactly as displayed below: http://www.geocities.com/denisgilbert/burnout.gif CASE 2: To use the burnout smiley on other websites where "UBB Code" is permitted (i.e. it'll usually show you "UBB code is ON" when you post a message on those websites), then use: http://www.geocities.com/denisgilbert/burnout_html.gif CASE 3: To use the burnout smiley on other websites where "HTML" is permitted, then use: http://www.geocities.com/denisgilbert/burnout_html.gif Good luck spreading the BS around the Internet. |
Re: New "burnout" smiley test
Arrgh, please get it right Denis. I wanna know.

Re: New "burnout" smiley test
If the instructions in my previous posting show a little white box with an X (heck, I don't know why that happens), right-click on the X and select "Show Picture" from Internet Explorer's popup menu. Netscape probably has an equivalent command. Let me know if any of this stuff works, else I'll contact the webmaster to get rid of everything I posted. Double argh.
