The best exhaust systems out there - thank you Eric
|
I installed one of their systems on an original paint '72 Trans Am survivor I used to own and it fit like a glove. I have my original paint '70 SS454 survivor on the rack as I type ready to install another Gardner system.

On a side note... The 66 GTO system did you enhance the weld on the gardner resonator? The weld appears aluminized or coated in the comparison photo VS the on the car shot appears as fresh Heat bluing from a weld. I ask because as original Camaro chambered systems had the pass exiting tailpipe welded to the chambered pipe... I do the same. I was going to rub some silver paint into the weld, however the NOS piece you have has a very prominent weld showing and makes me wonder whether I should leave the "fresh" weld with heat bluing etc. |
firstgenaddict,
Sorry, as I just now revisited this thread and read your question. No, I didn’t do any modifications to the the Gardner resonators. That’s how they looked out of the Gardner box. The NOS resonators I used obviously show the factory weld, which I prefer. Thanks, Chris |
See u tomorrow.

Best exhaust and unbelievable customer service. I have 6 of their systems, on each collector car I own. Will never use any other, fit and quality bar none. With the new turbo muffler option, best of both worlds. Those solid lifters sound amazing and its concourse correct!

If I order an exhaust system for a 1969 small block Camaro how long should I expect to wait?
|
I am going to answer my own question. Eric says 14-16 weeks and maybe as soon as 10-12 weeks.
|
The good news is (at least for mine) they did beat the quoted leadtime !
|
Welcome Gardner exhaust! Eric is a stand up guy! Looking forward to getting my chambered system!
