Correct but repainted, engine rebuilt etc. I already owned this one years ago and have one with low miles so I don't need it. I'm just trying to assist a widow. If any of us died and left our wives to deal with this I would hope someone would help our wives as well.

Engine rebuilt and I thought interior replacement, such as carpet and possibly seat covers????

Charley Lillard 03-14-2018 08:15 PM

Yes. I think I said that stuff in earlier posts.

In spite of the issues this car has a lot going for it. A real LS6 with two build sheets, a known history, great colors and an automatic with no vinyl top to detract from those great body lines. It would be a great driver quality purchase at 65k.

Yes, we would all want our wives or children treated fairly!! Many times all our toys and collections just end up being a lot of extra work for our families when we go. Would she be against becoming a member and listing her car in the classifieds here? Might just help to get the word out. I think there is already some interest.

If someone is interested in buying it they can contact me and I will put them in touch with the guy that is helping her.

My initial gut was $75K, but looking at the car again I agree with the others in the $65 - $70K range.

No mention of mileage on motor or on car itself? Receipts for engine work / paint?? Looks nice, but a real one with all the paperwork and verifiable numbers probably can be had for close to the same number as on this one I would think.

I just purchased a LS6 with 14K miles all original excluding tires, battery, two tailpipes and one muffler. Automatic ,cloth bench with 3:31 with two built sheets with one still tucked under passengers side front seat. window sticker, pop, order sheet and dealer invoice. With that said I paid almost double what she's asking so, in my opinion a black on black no hit not rotted original sheet metal car with docs. that's never been taken apart for a restoration even if it is a replacement block or a decked block with 4:10 is a good buy at 75K regardless of the automatic which as I get older I prefer over a 4 speed especially if it has the original Cy in it. Just my two cents.

My wife is always reminding me what she will do with the cars when I am gone, thats why I am enlisting the kids.
