I would try to fix it too.

Glad he is ok Dan. I would fix it. I've had my 70 z28 since 1980. I would never give up on a major repair like his car does to get it back on the road.

That car is really fixable with parts available today. It has to be put on a frame rack and pull things back into shape. If someone just tries cutting and replacing panels with out pulling into shape, it will never work.

I realize anything can be "fixed" but once fixed isn't more of a safety concern?

If you don't mind a vinyl top, here's a nice 73 Z, and it's in WI to boot....

WOW...what a great car with an amazing story!!! Looks like he's less than an hour away. Thanks for the link. Unfortunately almost 3 weeks later still waiting for the insurance company to get their head out of there a$$.

fix it
that will buff right out.

That silver 73 is great. I am not a silver fan but with the wheels and black top that is striking

I have seen the z posted on nasty-z. It is original paint. The paint on the left front fender was all checked by the headlight and very light surface rust. The last time i talked to the owner, he said it was going to the paint shop. I do not know if he had a blend or a complete repaint.
