Todd Ocide was the Performance and Corvette Guy there. He road raced with Don Yenko and was the one of the first to order and receive 1967 Yenko Super Camaros to sell. One was the very first '67 Yenko Camaro constructed. The dealership also sold at least one 1966 Yenko Stinger. On another historic note, Todd was able to obtain one of the exclusive 1966-L88 Corvette Coupes and campaigned that car under the Bachrodt Banner. |

Re: Barn find 1966 L-79 Corvette
We all prefer the big-block mid-years ($$$) but I can imagine an L79/M-21 being one heck of a fun driver and maybe even the better choice for that reason.

Handles better -- I've had both ... the BBC wanted to stay in a line (67 coupe) ... the SBC would turn on a dime (63 rag top). Wish I had that 63 (black/red) back -- wife and I got married in that Vette. TAZ |

Great car for sure. I own a 67 L-79 M21 3.70. Very quick car and fun to drive. Like TAZ said will turn on a dime and hold a tight corner. Power slides very evenly...fun stuff..
