Terry tasked me with getting the codes to fill in the buildsheet. He knew I had a large collection of sheets to work from.

I think I've mentioned previously but worth repeating.......Our first trip to Bloomington in 1980 as kids - Dave rode shotgun with Terry in a maroon 69 L89 Corvette Coupe (Dave was 7 years old). I was 10 and rode shotgun in Bill's silver LS6 coupe. Great memories!

I don't but my parents might, I'll ask them. What is the car like now?

The car is probably just like you remember, it was never restored. I met Terry at Bloomington in 2002 and he was so happy to see the car just as he remembered. Here is a link from a mag article on the car. I would love some pics if you happen to find any. https://www.corvette-mag.com/issues/...ainst-all-odds

Thanks for sharing that - great to see it again!

Parents did not have any pictures, sorry. I'll keep looking around.

I remember the silver LS6, but I've never seen the L89 coupe.

----Terry put the L89 thru judging whatever the year it was That the Dykstras mentioned and tasked me to detail it. I forgot to put the nuts back on the rear Corvette letters and they remained on but the judges caught the lack of nuts and Terry got pissed off at me. I do have a picture of Terry trying to put the nuts back on with me standing beside the car. If you knew Terry he was completely incompetent in the mechanical area. He absolutely lived for all types of cars but could hardly change a tire. He was a very close and good friend. If you want I will make a copy of it the pic for you.
----Of course you already know what a great car it was. Good to know where it is and in safe, caring hands!..….Bill S
