Not really a dog and pony show for the most part. In the first auction there were only three items out of 877 that had a reserve, an 0- complete small block, an 0- pair of porcupine heads, with two pair of valve covers and injection manifold on a complete 010 engine, and a late 1800's three wheel baby cart if I remember right. I didn't see anything with a reserve in the second auction. Everything starts at $5 so even I can get a bid in.

the bad part is there is items that the auction company has no clue what they are. and also lots or bundles of items.

99 percent of Al"s good stuff was sold when he was still alive. The majority of this auction stuff was out of the outer buildings and at his other storage area. The 1 or 2 percent of his good stuff that was left was sold right after he passed away. The guns haven't sold yet and neither has the memorabilia He had A lot of stuff. Took the auction company 5 weeks to move all this stuff.

The "good stuff" should have been used and mixed in lots to move all the stuff that will never sell on thier own .

Lots of unidentified carbs (among other things) in the third auction coming up. How hard would it have been to take a picture of an air horn or a casting number on a block or head? Likely the auction workers aren't car guys. I guess that is why local auction companies sometimes pay me big bucks to identify car parts.

That explains all the rusty junk that is being auctioned off then, His basement didn't have anything in it that looked as bad as most of this stuff does.

those two motors seemed like a good deal..

I would have been a bidder if I it was closer to home...I would like to know what's up with the magnesium intake that goes with those hemi 302 0-dash porcupine heads..was that a GM part?? To make a magnesium intake cannot be so simple..

I know Al a complete had NOS hemi 302 and a few of them motors and heads..Jim at HBC bought most of the Camaro stuff from him a few years ago.

It says the alum o-dash motor is one of two made??. I remember seeing one advertised for a while. I think Jack Podell had it.. wanted 50k I believe. But then I thought Charley has one of them in his 67 Z?

That makes three with this one???
