Kurt </div></div> Agreed Kurt, by my notes GM made 1238, of the 13437 body style with the L35, rarer than an LS6. And the 69 is better looking too. |

Hi guys I'm Steve. I'm the guy that bought this rough car. Lol I found the car on kijiji being offered as a bonus to the purchase of a 68 6 cyl Malibu. I emailed the guy not expecting him to want to sell the 69 SS396 4 speed body separately. He then responded and said "what will you offer for it?" I then called him and asked him a few questions about the overall condition of it, and if there were any parts left on it. He said "not many but it does have the SS hood, and a factory tach dash still in it". I then asked him to give me the numbers off the cowl tag. I asked him what he needed for the car and he said $800. I decided to make the 3 hour drive with the trailer to get it. It is really rough, but is really cool to find such a car sitting in the bush with the 5500 tach, 4 speed column, clutch pedals, BB hood, perfect dash pad, and the nice Canadian cowl tag. I offered him $500 and we settled at $550. I think I did ok even if the body is really poor. I sent away to GM this morning and got the vehicle package. Ill post the pics of it.

Wow, a 4.10 geared rear with the 325 horse engine. Wonder if it flung many belts when new?

See, more proof that there are more 13427 and 13437 with either an L35 or L34 that were born with a KK 4.10.... What a pretty car this was when new.
Great Stuff Dan |

</div></div> So it was possible to get the M20 wide-ratio with digger gears? |
