I was actually in Charlotte on Friday for work, amazingly there was no trace of the Hurricane located just to the east, just sunny and 95 degrees there. Flew in and out the same day with no issues.

... It is sunny here today.... and a few limbs down.... My home did alright.... cars were stored in dry metal building and were safe.

starting my third day with no power at home. thankfully nobody has been hurt. used the generator to power the pool cleaner. after 8 hours and a truck load of debris I took a swim.

No power at my house either Chris. At least it was not on when I left for work this morning. Sold my house in the village last year and now live off Noyac Road. My old house never lost power! Generator is working well though.
