The cabin I stay at while I am here, another four feet on the ground since this picture was taken: http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...r/DSCN2700.jpg [/ QUOTE ] Nice cabin Dave! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif Cute little snowmen https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif I assume they were buried by the additional four feet https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif of snow? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif |
Re: Snow
Yep, I think the snowmen are in the deep freeze, cant go out the back door, the snow falling off the roof has it buried. Don't know who made the snowmen, they were there when I came up a month ago.

Re: Snow
Not much to do when you're stuck in a hotel near Baltimore.
The rental car is under that pile of snow! There's actually a Harley buried in snow to the right! http://i46.tinypic.com/205vxhw.jpg Here the hotel guests were making the best of things! http://i45.tinypic.com/snh0ua.jpg I'll be heading home to the rain and mudslides in a few days! |
Re: Snow
I don't know how much we got but it was higher than the intake on my snowblower. I'm ready to go back to work for some rest!

Re: Snow
Late Saturday morning, already 18" on the ground....
http://onewaystreet.smugmug.com/Weat...17_vHzdR-O.jpg http://onewaystreet.smugmug.com/Weat...19_zQnAX-O.jpg We started digging out around 4PM on Saturday afternoon. My snow blower broke about 2 hours into digging out. So my son and I had to dig out the old fashion way. http://onewaystreet.smugmug.com/Weat...21_UTdBs-O.jpg We finished digging out today. And when we finished, I found the snow blower manual, read it, found that there are 2 belts inside the auger assembly. I removed the 6 10MM bolts and found one of the belts came off the pulley. After taking about 5 minutes to fix it and put the cover back on, it was back up and running. Maybe I should look into a deep groove pulley upgrade. Guess I should have tried to fix it Saturday. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif I HATE winter! |
