for my first time to have a car in VETT FEST, i must say it was a great time and i learned a ((lot)). i would also like to thank all that set it up, and to Darren for all of his hard work. here is a photo of him being interviewed. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...1123081345.jpg [/ QUOTE ] Wow! I think I am still wound up from the weekend. Where do I even start. There is truly a countless amount of people to thank for making the showcase a success. Let me try and name some and please forgive me if I leave anyone out. First I need to thank my friend Bob McGowen for helping me tow the 1st Z back and forth to the show. Without him I wouldn't have been able to do it. And also for grabbing the dogs on Sunday! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/drool.gif To Dan Vasic and Mike P for getting the line up started while I was running late. Mark and Randy also pitching in with the tape measures to make sure the cars looked perfect from front to back. To Stefano for lending us the skates so we could move some unattended cars. That without a doubt made all the difference in the world in the fine tuning of the line up. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif To Don at NOS Resto for once again helping me out last minute to get my car ready. To the man, Bob Ashton for putting on such a great show and being such a pleasure to work with. And finally to everyone who brought their cars for the showcase. None of this could have been achieved without you guys. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif I do need to thank Dave and Amy for being patient with me during my interview. The camera and I aren't too friendly and while I didn't get a chance for that second take hopefully you will have enough so you can edit out the stutters and crying. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif So I understand we set some attendance records. Can't wait to hear all the details on that.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif |

Re: Fall 2008 Chevy Vette Fest Pics
Congratulations my friend. The turnout was not only impressive, but also a testimony to you as a person. Proof that the good you do will come back to you. It's always a pleasure to spend time with you, Adrianna and Gavin. If I may borrow some words from another of the "Good Guys" in Kenosha,......... You GET IT!. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif
