Re: Project Camaro Z-28 Wanted
The deck stamp does not match characteristics of other known deck stamps from that period... the casting date vs build date is also off from my observations as well... Yes, I will concede there are odd balls however the majority are built within a few days of being cast... all added together and a blurred image to boot makes me wonder... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif

Re: Project Camaro Z-28 Wanted
Greg ,
I have two 69 Z's I am considering selling . Not sure if they fit your bill . Both are Van Nuys cars . One needs to be restored and has been certified by Jerry MacNeish . It is all original down to the T3, spiral shocks,AIR equipment, reverse lock out... everything . Blue light, endura, M21 and style trim .No docs but pretty obvious what it is in unrestored condition.Daytona yellow black standard The other is a Van Nuys RS Z with a tattered build sheet still on the tank but enough to tell you what you have. Also have a bunch of California DMV paperwork from 1979/80 and an old DMV print out. Was originally owned by two lezbians so I consider that's good right ?:) Has original rear end but motor and trans are gone but I have a DZ block dated VO124DZ and the car is an 01D build with a VIN about 2000 after the car so pretty close . The chassis is in excellent shape. Original flat hood non D80 car which I think is cool . This car would be real easy to do and is in your price range. Lemans Blue ,black deluxe 712 |
