Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Hey Mark,
I sent you a private message. One of my cars came back with a Dealer code 465 and zone 20 which appears to be in Ca. Do you where I can get the dealer codes as I know some of the SYC guys seem to have that info? Thanks, Dave |

Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
got mine for the COPO yesterday..confirms my buildsheets, dealer 49, zone 12, Joe Bookman chevy Buffalo NY. Interesting though, the NCRS had no dealer name available? I knew what 49-12 was ahead of time...car was built 7-11-69.

I may have a pic of a Dealer sticker from there. I was finding stuff from that dealer back in the 80's,thought my Camaro was close to there at one time...... BIG |

Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Thanks Dana,
I did find a post from another site from years ago that noted that he bought his 69 Z/28 new from Guardian. I tried to check out some old newspaper ads from that area and time period but ran out of steam last night. At least I know it's a Ca. car from Brea. That's a 100% more than I knew 2 days ago. Thanks again, Dave |
Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Thanks Steve. The NCRS website lists Sausman as 49 - 496. I always thought that this car was from Sunderland, which is what Sausman became in / around 1969. While the NCRS site does not have Sunderland, I know that in 1978 they were 49 - 580 (per a build sheet I found online last night for a '78 Anniv Vette).
So, now I don't know where the car was from, and what I thought was a Sunderland sold car - now appears not... Feel like I just took a big step backwards. I'm at an even bigger loss on the '67 Camaro.... |
