Having Big Steve and Bob from Ohio lend a hand in the clean up Saturday was a huge help. We had an unknown amount of different chemicals working on the old Naval Jelly. From GoJo to Super Clean, to orange based solvents etc. In the end old fashioned hard rubbing with a hard plastic scrapper did the deed. We found even more cool factory screw-ups, like the passenger side being drilled for the standard rocker mouldings, and the driver side done correctly. The way the black out on the rockers was applied was sparse to say the least, and the over-spray patterns in the jams sloppy. But the black is gloss, make no mistake. Steve was amazed at the air conditioning detail on the radiator support. Stop by and take a look and say hello.
