So what color was the General Lee? If you're thinking Hemi Orange - nope. It didn't have enough Orange in the mix so when filmed it looked more Brown than Orange. How about 1975 Corvette Flame Red? Nope. The truth of the matter is - the color wasn't a factory color at all. It was something called TNT Express which was used by a shipping company on their delivery vehicles.

Not only is it a rare color combo, it's also an A66 340 Challenger.

There was no 340 Challenger R/T like there was a 340 Cuda for 1970.

Is that really the same car? The body line on the fender back to the door looks completely different. Much deeper on the restored car. Look at the rear door edge. Looks like they took a sedan and shortened it to make a 2 seat coupe. Nice work though.

----It must be the pictures but this Firebird really doesn't look like Verdero green. More like a bronze. I think I remember the color but don't have the name in my brain at the moment.....Bill S

I thought that as well, but attributed it to my monitor or the sunlight during the photo shoot.
