Re: NEW CAMARO in Latrobe by the name of DANA :)
We need a few things for the car that just did not stand up to the heat. I am looking for a pair of nice black door lock knobs. We also need the covers for the shoulder belts at the headliner. They just crumbled as soon as you touched them, I have never seen those so dried out. If anyone has some of those parts please PM me, I will gladly purchase those from you...BKH

Re: NEW CAMARO in Latrobe by the name of DANA :)
Yes, Dana removed the air items, but a note on the Dana paperwork specifies that the owner will retain the parts. You guessed it, they are still with the car!...BKH https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Whttps://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gifW...loving the details and originality!!!.
Of course it's not mine to decide, sure wish it was...and not to do the boys out of work either, but as things progress I can't help but feel even more strongly than previously for consideration of the car being left overall as the battle-scarred unrestored survivor it is?. Yes to the mechanical internals restored also more cleaning/detailing too and even the few parts necessary replaced w/ originals but overall I can't stop feeling how this car is simply one of the sweetest original finds a fella could ever dream of and even though it'd still be amazing restored, I'm just having trouble thinking of the day it's painted?. How'd the Go-Jo paint cleanup turn out?. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif ~ Pete |
Re: NEW CAMARO in Latrobe by the name of DANA :)
I spent some time on Sat with the SCW crew and had the pleasure to lend a hand cleaning the Dana...Without a doubt this is one KILLER 68.The amount of details to be learned from this car are unbelieveable.Anyone with a passion for Camaros will be weak in the knees looking at this one...Thanks SCW ! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
