Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Those dealer emblems are great. Thanks for posting them. I'm looking for anything from Piedmont Chevrolet-Oldsmobile, Inc in Culpeper, VA, if anybody can help. Thanks.

Anyone know if these NCRS reports would include any US built cars shipped new to Canadian dealer codes or is it info for cars shipped to US dealers only? If yes to Canadian dealers, is it known if any have happened like this yet...nice surprise if so being it'd indicate the availability of Canadian paperwork! Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Charley, I posted the picture on my car of the putty filling the holes where the Berger emblem was on your urging. I knew where the car came from after talking to the original owner. Now I have my report stating it and bought the emblem I needed for on the back. The NCRS reports came at the right time for me. Maybe now I can get the first owner to put something on paper for me. Great collection of dealer emblems.

It may be a good idea to include a note & GM Canada Vintage services contact info w/ any NCRS reports supplied for cars like this also Cdn. built cars shipped new to the States as not everyone is aware that VINs crossing the Canada/US border in either direction when new had their RPO info etc recorded thus available today for these cars from Canada Vintage services. Gotta say the recent NCRS service is simply THE best thing that's happened to this hobby in recent years! ~ Pete |
