My first Camaro! Bought it from the orig owner in 1974. Should have kept it, but my best friend had a Z/28 and beat my ass every time! Got my Z in 1978. Didn’t let that one get away!

Got a Pace Car wit A/C out of Wisconsin -- motor bad and replaced it with a warmed over 396. Replaced both quarter panels, painted it and had a local artist / sign painter paint the graphics on the doors. Later on the wife decided she wanted a new 79' Z-28 and we sold the Pace Car. When the 79' arrived we went to pick it up and the wife drove it home. Got back to the house and when she stepped out of the car I could see "that" look on her face. Bottom line is the local Chevy dealership had a key to that thing. I won't go into details as it would take me a few hours to reflect here what was all wrong with that Z ... she admitted to me she wishes she had the 69' back ...
