No. Like the Z/28 and Boss 302 - only hardtops (fastbacks for the Boss 302/429). Yes Chevy did build one 1968 Z/28 convertible for GM Exec. Pete Estees. But Ford did not. What they did build one of is a single White 1969 Boss 302 with A/C which was not an option on that car. Ford also built a mid-mount Boss 429 (red) which I have posted photos of. It was an experiment to see if placing the engine behind the driver improved the car's handling. It did but to such a small amount, it wasn't worth retooling the car.
