Serious question: could this car be saved, and made into something else (like an SS racer tribute, or Gran Sport clone)?

Asking for a friend.

Sadly, this appears to be a ZO6 judging by the master cylinder

One Dodge dealership in Darien New York kept a 1969 Charger 500 with a hemi until 1989, and then finally sold it (with 1270 miles on it from parades and events) It's just been sold at BJ for 341K

I believe this car was at MCACN ‘22 for Vintage Certification? Hell, I believe that pic was taken at MCACN.

Really old photo; looks to be a ‘90’s Lumina Eurosport in the background, still has window sticker.

----If this 63 is a tanker and the owner left modern fuel in it long enough the tank could have leaked and hit the exhaust. A friend with a well known Corvette resto shop was just talking about this a couple of days ago. He was up my way finalizing a stainless tank for a tanker. They found the tank unfixable and the owner said he didn't care about 36 gallons so they are building a slightly smaller tank with all the appropriate fittings and neck. Looking at the pic, it appears that the engine compartment is relatively untouched, which would make my thoughts possibly correct.
----I've heard of many boats with older fiberglass tanks around here that have had to do basicly the same thing!....Bill S
