And the Rewards

Entered into Concours, even though I knew there was a lot that was not up to snuff and/or over-restored. Just wanted to go for a run with the Big Dogs !!

Scored 880, for a Bronze

Another highlight for me was having Morley Fast stop by to see the car at the show. I bought the car from Morley in spring of 1997.

The green bastard is gold to me, not many documented born with drivetrain novas out there, congrats awesome l78 nova ss (wish my nova ss project turns out half as good). On a side note that radio delete plate is a hard item to find ive been looking, high & low for my car.

All the in-process restoration photos in this thread prove that you do indeed show passion and enthusiasm for this hobby, so I'd say the Brad Van Hemert Memorial award is highly appropriate for you, Gary.

Great job on the resto, car really looked nice. One?, why did you install 15-inch wheels and tires instead of the original 14's??

There are a few strays from the build sheet just for my personal preference.
15" wheels, I like the look of the car better with the slightly larger tires,

Tinted glass, Radio delete dash, factory tach in clock position, hurst shifter w/muncie handle, factory rear sway bar, pertronix ignition.

I never planned to go back to 100% original (smog ,tcs, overspray) so I added a few things to my personal taste.

I may however pick away at a few of the easy points deductions.

And... will drive it this summer!!
