Inching up on twisting the tail. Waiting for a new front bearing for the alternator and then I should be ready to go.
I am waiting for distributor parts from Roto-Faze. Having said that, I put new points and condenser in the 170 dist and spun that on the machine today to set the dwell. Added the lightest springs I had, to bring the advance is as quick as possible. I'll map the curve to see where it really is once it's running. On a different note, if one of you has an original 14" air cleaner base that has had breather tube removed (like for a double pumper) I'd be interested......

Got the old exhaust off. I'll preserve the tailpipes and hangers. The rest, off to the scrapper.

I kinda cringed at my handy-work on that exhaust pipe but when it developed a hole the size of a quarter it was either preserve or replace. Can't wait to see what the new system looks like Tim!
