Re: Next Years Power Tour Car
I have got to say i can appreciate their attention to details and taking pride and ownership in their work. It can be sometimes difficult to find a shop that takes restoration seriously, instead of just another car in the shop.

I read all 33 pages today
Very interesting work, wish you to finish it soon. This will be one of the nicest 66 Impalas out there... Greetings from Germany |
Re: Next Years Power Tour Car
Welcome to the board Jack. Good to have you. Whereabouts are you from near Nuremberg?

Re: Next Years Power Tour Car
Hi Sam, thank you very much.
I was born in Nuremberg and live now in Erlangen, about 12 mls from Nuremberg. Sorry my English is not so perfect... I own a 81 Chevy Caprice, and a 69 Lincoln Mark III. Want to sell the Lincoln and buy a 65,67 or 68 Impala 4 speed. Very hard to find here in Germany . Think I need to import one from the US next year. So there will be a lot of questions here then. Greetings |

In some cases reasonable prices. Not so difficult for you to go and check them out yourself. Here is a '66 283 vert €21000 http://www.xn--fyndbrsen-47a.se/bila...ala_cab/40036/ And here is a nice '68 327 vert for around €18000 http://www.usabil.nu/databas/Detalj.asp?ID=98767 Use Google translate on the pages to convert to German and then you go Most of the cars here in Sweden are in good shape. You could probably be better off selling the Lincoln up here too. Good Luck with your hunt. Jan |
Re: Next Years Power Tour Car
Hi Jan,
thanks for your answer, could be worth checking it out. Thanks for your links, but both have automatic. I'm looking for a 4 speed. And no Convertible, only Coupe oder 4dr Hardtop, I forgot to write that. You really think selling the Lincoln up by you could be better than in Germany? I mean, from here to the border are about 1000 km... But enough of that, I don't want to spam this thread with that here. I think I open a new thread next year when I have questions. Greetings Jack |
