Delorean must have had a thing for orange. I believe the pilot GTO Judge car built off the Tempest was bright orange, and of course the 1st 2,000 Judges in 69 were all Carousel Red (orange).

That might have been Wangers' doing.

The belief was that painting them all the same color would make the public feel like there were more of them around.

He did the same thing for the introduction of the '63 Grand Prix, in Nocturne Blue for that one.
