Neither the Shelby 10 Spoke Aluminum Wheels nor the Shelby RWL tires were options on the 1968 GT/CS California Special Mustang . . . But . . . You could buy them via the Parts Dept. This car has the Two-Tone Hood Paint which was an option on all 1968 Mustangs |

Dodge built 23 Black 1970 Challenger T/As. This is the only one to have a White top and matching interior. |

This 1970 GTX is so unique with it's Gator Grain top - it deserves another post. It is not the only one. There are two others. |

So how much horse power did a 1969 427 ZL-1 engine make? It depended on how you measured it. The following are dyno results with a max RPM of 6750: 375.7 HP - as delivered in a 1969 Camaro with 36 degrees timing and chambered exhaust 418.9 HP - same as above but replace cast iron exhaust manifolds with 2-1/8" headers 447.2 HP - same as above and remove air cleaner, A.I.R. pump and alternator 523.6 HP - same as above and remove chambered exhaust - run open headers |

An unused ad photo for the 1969 Dart GT. What is interesting about the car are the chrome exhaust tips. Dual exhaust was never an option on the GT. Both the standard 273-2V and optional 318-2V were single exhaust only. Only the GTS and Swinger 340 had dual exhaust with chrome tips |

DAMN! A photo of an ultra rare 1970 Swinger 340 with the Blue Bumblebee Stripe and you can hardly see it! One of the cars on my "bucket list." |

The reason why the front spoiler was standard on the 1969 and 1970 Boss 302 was due to a SCCA requirement. There was no such requirement for a rear spoiler and that is why it was an option. |

If you ordered the optional Rear Louvers for your 1969 Boss 302, the body colored dual racing mirrors were a required option replacing the standard driver's side chrome mirror which you will be very hard pressed to find on a 69 Boss 302. 55% of all 1969 Boss 302s were ordered with the Louvers. |
