My turn to pick.
Along with the unpainted black stripe cone on the center cap, plus the polished trim rings that “K” pointed out, there are a few more “fixable” items on this ‘65.
Exhaust splitters and wipers are terrible.
One of my peeves is the front license plate bracket mounted upside down in the bottom holes of the bumper. I see this all the time!
Here are 2 New ‘65 GTO’s with the bracket installed the correct way.
My Mayfair Maize ‘65 showing it’s patina rolled lip over the top of the license plate.
Plus an NOS spare I have showing the installation instructions. |
