Ryan,

Well done.

You should have your new TO rear end delivered to our local Olds Rear End Guru.....Bob Kelso.
Bob can restore all your rear end needs. He has done many for Joe and I.
Plus, Bob just recently restored Kurt's broken 12 bolt from the Ohio Drags.

I would love to do that, but I want/need to learn and do this on my own as much as possible. That’s the fun part!!!

Yes, I get that.....but if YOUR welds were to break as you are going down the Drag Strip.....that would not be a pretty picture.

Absolutely Ryan! Setting up your rear is pretty straightforward and, you as the owner, will give it the care that some pros just don't. Sometimes it takes quite a few stabs at the perfect pattern.
I recently sold a '68 TO rear and it went into a W30 up in BC. Since that time I picked up another '69 3.91 posi, but it's the SJ rear with the 588 carrier.
You've got some real talented guys on this board that'll have your back.
