Probably not as much as a 2-dr. I think the "two too many doors rule" would still apply.

It is an interesting photo for sure. I wonder where it was taken and the purpose for the 2 gentlemen posing next to their cars. Maybe they were traveling on vacation together?

PS: I blew the photo up and I believe I can see the column mounted shifter handle in Park, so that would mean it's the 305hp 348 (the only engine available in the SS with a P/G trans)

Looks like the MGB owner has two flat tires.

For anyone who cares.....
I believe this is Downers Grove, IL, the north side of US Rt. 34, just west of Main St.

I would have to agree. The Jewel and EG Home Center were there for many years, I don't remember Texas Tommy's, I was too young to be out driving around at that time.

Vern, it looks like they're in front of the Colony Hotel in the heart of South Beach, Miami. Why they're posing is anyone's guess.

Re: Old Street Scenes

Posing and South Beach go hand-in-hand (pun intended https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif ), don't they?
