In 1968 Carroll Shelby opened the Sky Terrace motel and restaurant at the southern Basin of Lake Tahoe. Located near a popular ski resort it featured a heated pool, free cable TV and a bar called the Snake Pit.
Shelby also owned a cabin on the shores of Lake Tahoe, he sometimes piloted a Cessna from Texas, and he also opened the Lake Tahoe Basin’s first Ford dealership.

There’s nothing quite like “Lake Tahoe”.
All shores on the California and Nevada side are unbelievably beautiful.
I see a couple Mustangs, of coarse and looks like Heavenly Valley ski resort in the background.
