When Mark Lindsay, lead singer for Paul Revere and the Raiders first saw the 1969 GTO Judge, being a "car guy," he loved it and got in touch with Jim Wangers because he wanted to write a song about the car. Wangers loved the idea. Wangers claims this commercial is considered one of the earliest rock-music videos.

The first Muscle Car to have a trunk mounted spoiler was the 1966 Charger. Originally offered as a dealer install option (to satisfy NASCAR) it was standard on all 1966 Hemi Chargers. Placed in the trunk by Dodge for the dealer to install, very few made it onto the cars. |
