On the Deuce Ad from Jeff City, MO; I believe this ad refers to a Citrus Green Deuce sold new at Riley Chev in Jefferson City, MO. The original owner sold it around this time and then tracked it down many years later and bought it back! The other 2 Riley Deuces were totalled, the orange one was titled once in '70, the blue one was never titled....

Do a search under the Minneapolis Star and Tribune from back in the 70's some time if you are bored. Back in the mid 70's there were TONS of high performance cars for sale in every Sunday's paper. I used to read it just for the dreams of owning one of them. Several Yenkos were listed over time.

I tried for Minneapolis ads Rick, specifically the MS&T but sorry and no luck. Digging deeper, it appears the Minneapolis papers have been scanned by NewspaperArchives which are a different group than the Newspapers.com folks I'm riding with although I may try them on next after this subscription ends. they had to move over 50 1968 SS Camaro used steel hoods |
