Bruce thank you for all the hard work. This is as good as it gets for me because I will not be able to go for years. What is your opinion of the quality of the cars? To me it looks as good as ever.

I hate to be a nay-sayer, but about the 1st photo in this post: The "Benchmark" LS6. There has been some controversy over the years wrt whether it is a true survivor or not and I ain't gonna rehash that. But, I was saddened to learn over the weekend that the stripes were painted on the car recently involving original checked lacquer removed and fresh paint applied!!!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/shocked.gif Now we can put this one to bed - it definitely is not a Benchmark car anymore https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif ! Sam, I have seen this car on Ebay in the past and your right, I don't remember the stripes on the car. The reason the car stands out is becuase of the dealership it is from, Roger Dean Chevy. I remember seeing the dealer badge on the car and reading the same history on it...

Charlie, The black LS6 never had stripes originally. They had to be added recently. I helped the owner who had it certified correct a bunch of little items that were missing when he got it. No stripes on it then.
