Yes the RS ZL1 was supposed to be at I think the reunion before last but did not go due to a transport mixup. We will get it there this year. Might even be good to drag race it once or twice.

How's this for bizarre timing: Twenty years ago this week is when I drove from Connecticut through a blizzard to Wisconsin to buy that hemicuda. I was the first one there with money in hand. Everyone else chickened out from the 2 feet of snow on the interstate. We had to shovel a path to get the car out of the garage and onto the trailer.

That car would be great to see at the reunion, so would the Yenko Nova - those would be my top two picks!

First off, the whole collection is mind boggling...

I'd love to see any of them at SCR, but if there's only gonna be one, definitely the blue ZL1... the green Nova has been to SCR, as well as the yellow ZL1. I've seen that blue car in a bunch of photos and publications but would love to see it up close and personal. A few passes at the track would be icing on the cake! Thanks for posting the great pics.

My understanding was the dealer added the stripes and emblems to add some flash to it in order to help it sell. Orig. paint and about 7000 miles.

The only thing I can say about that collection is WOW! It is really diverse on what it has, and the RS-ZL1 is just too sweet, were there 2 or 3 RS ZL1's built? I looked at that car when it first came for sale - I think he wanted $150 for it at the time - but I couldn't get my head around it. Would have made a nice match for my COPO car. Anyone know the story on the Shelby KR-500? That car is a twin to the one the guy behind me owns/owned. Last I heard the car was still in storage (since the late 80's). I thought my neighbors had the aluminum wheels though, been so long I'm not sure. Anyone know where the car in the pictures came from?

The Miura is one of the most beautiful cars ever produced.....I'm a big fan.

Driving one is an absolute treat. The carbs are about two inches from your head and the straight cut gears, music to my ears. It feels like the cam bearings are mounted in your skull.

Every day for a previous job I used to go to a company in south Jersey. One lady's husband had a Miura. It is a neat looking car. She told me that her husband had it out somewhere and was driving at a crazy fast speed. He went past a cop and the cop either couldn't catch him or did not try to catch him. Sometime later the cop shows up at his house. The cop was not able to read the plate during the "chase" but he told the guy that he had had the only Miura in south Jersey so it was easy to find him.
