Interesting the two 90 degree boots on the plug wires.

There are actually three 90° boots. I removed a wire from the distributor to take the previous picture!

I thought these are kind of neat. Very crisp printing on the clutch fan and the yellow inspection mark where it meets the water pump pulley

I don't see the jack or the plastic cover that covers the jack. Are they missing or do you have them? I love the car BTW!!!

I assume the jack is under there!

They must have run out of the correct PCV hose that should have a 90 at the valve cover.

Just an amazing car , the pcv valve should be 746C (please correct me if I’m wrong) makes me think the hose and pcv valve disappeared with the carburetor and had to be replaced. With such an epic car whatever history info you can get from original owner is quite valuable IMO . (Same hose and valve as 69 z I am all but certain)

That’s what I’m kind of thinking now that I have looked at everything. Lots to talk to the owner later on this week to see if he remembers. In any case I think I need to get that changed because the hose doesn’t look like a GM hose as well.

Let us know about that PCV valve # before I edit my notes.

you know, it's just so encouraging that there are still cars like this out there. As we continue to age, how many more will come out of the woodwork?
