Interesting the two 90 degree boots on the plug wires.

There are actually three 90° boots. I removed a wire from the distributor to take the previous picture!

I thought these are kind of neat. Very crisp printing on the clutch fan and the yellow inspection mark where it meets the water pump pulley

Ricks72Z28 09-12-2025 03:30 PM

Wow what a great find…looking forward to seeing the car at MCACN…

mssl72 09-12-2025 09:12 PM

Love the embossed belt!

SPEEDYB 09-13-2025 01:28 PM

I for one would love to see some orig paint details
such as the rocker panels below the doors and around the sill plates. Also the weather strip channel
for the trunk, thank you.

hiperf69 09-13-2025 02:33 PM

What an amazing car.
I for one think this car should be brought to MCACN just as it is.
Try not to touch it.
You have a time capsule that the Camaro World needs to see.
Just my opinion but I don’t think I’m alone.

danachevroletfor1967 09-14-2025 10:14 PM

Wow, I can't believe how clean that trunk is.

I don't see the jack or the plastic cover that covers the jack. Are they missing or do you have them? I love the car BTW!!!

bbjohnny 09-14-2025 10:33 PM

I assume the jack is under there!

70 Forest Green Zee 09-14-2025 10:36 PM

Cool! The plastic cover looks to be in very good shape...those are hard to come by if you need one....yours looks great!

luv2sixty9 09-15-2025 01:28 AM

TimG 09-16-2025 03:10 PM

That's great.......

COPO427 09-16-2025 05:37 PM

They must have run out of the correct PCV hose that should have a 90 at the valve cover.

dykstra 09-17-2025 11:49 AM

Can't wait to see this car at MCACN!!

Just an amazing car , the pcv valve should be 746C (please correct me if I’m wrong) makes me think the hose and pcv valve disappeared with the carburetor and had to be replaced. With such an epic car whatever history info you can get from original owner is quite valuable IMO . (Same hose and valve as 69 z I am all but certain)

bbjohnny 09-17-2025 06:28 PM

That’s what I’m kind of thinking now that I have looked at everything. Lots to talk to the owner later on this week to see if he remembers. In any case I think I need to get that changed because the hose doesn’t look like a GM hose as well.

Mr70 09-17-2025 07:01 PM

Let us know about that PCV valve # before I edit my notes.

My PVC valve and hose off my 70 Z survivor purchased from the original owner 20,000 miles

66cayne 09-20-2025 04:56 PM

you know, it's just so encouraging that there are still cars like this out there. As we continue to age, how many more will come out of the woodwork?

I'm definitely not a Photoshop expert, but this might help folks read the window sticker options a bit better.

Window Sticker

1 Attachment(s)
I have been working with John to reproduce the window sticker for his car to get a better idea what it would look like if completely intact and slightly aged. Watermark would not be on the final....

bbjohnny 09-27-2025 07:24 PM

Paul, thank you so much for your help on this! Your expertise is amazing!

Bill Pritchard 09-27-2025 09:54 PM

Paul is the best when it comes to window stickers!

William 09-27-2025 10:32 PM
