Letter
 

Here is a letter from the second owner Greg to the original owner Chuck, explaining how much he loved the car even though he had some frustrations with the engine.
The third owner Tom, who is good friends with Greg, also told me about how special the car was to him and to Greg.

It is nice to be the caretaker of a car that has had such a big impact on so many memories and for the car still to retain its original beauty.....

Order form - what is submitted to the zone, lists all the RPO's and colors and special instructions.

Kurt, I guess I am missing the order form. I am not familiar with the order form. Is that something the customer usually received a copy of? Thank you, Paul

Up until recently, I did not know these plastic vinyl top inserts even existed. I am amazed that they are still on both sides of the car!

I just noticed today, the car still has the original Gourley Chevrolet promotional key. Pretty sweet!

After wiping the car down today, I snapped a few pictures.

Awesome car that looks great - the earlier photos with the little letter Goodyear's are over the top.

I love the original Goodyear Wide Tread tires also, but I don’t trust them. After the holidays, I am going to get a set of reproduction Wide Tread tires. I had a real hard time finding them for my 1969.

White cowl paint overspray that got on the door hinges and jamb.

On the hood, you can see faint tape lines. I think the hood had the tape laid out for stripes and then it was removed after the stripe deletion was clarified. The residue of the tape, left lines under the paint.

Love those 68Z's and this be one excellent example. Thanks for sharing..... Look forward to checking out in person!
