I hope everyone got home safe. I had a great time again. I'm getting to know more of the people each time we get together. What a great bunch of people. I have a really hard time remembering names, but the more I'm around you the better I remember them. I wish we could do this more than once a year. Some of the guys that I invited actually came to watch and I think they were impressed enough to bring their cars next year.
I really enjoyed Bob's presentation on Friday night. He's had a very interesting life and I'm glad he shared some of it with us. |
Thanks for sharing the pics..who owns "Pure & Simple"?

That's Jamie's (livettes) car. It's got a 430 CanAm engine in it. Very cool car.

It was running in the 11s. It's a very cool car. Pics do no justice to it. Need to see it in person. Very nice car.

Great event as usual! It’s always good to catch up with all the great people associated with this gathering. Already looking forward to next year!

I have been in lust with the red 67 Z since I saw it posted on FB

A big thanks to all who worked to put this on. I enjoyed it all and will be back. I was able to wander thru the museum Friday night during the banquet, so left at 10:45 Saturday morning and walked in my door at 1:30 am today.

Mitch, did you run your windsheildless car? :burnout:

It was at MCACN a few years ago (2014) in the Gasser display-next to Floyd and Jean Weirlein's car. Jamie's 55 used to have fuel injection through the hood  https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...ps094d005a.jpg https://www.yenko.net/forum/cache.ph...ps338b38b7.jpg |
Amazing banquet attendees
A super big thank you to all whom attended the banquet. I do not have the words to express the emotions i felt due to your generosity and kindness that all of you graciously exhibited at the auction. My wife and i were speechless , thank you so, so much. We felt we were surrounded bu the best people in the world. Sincerely Greg and Lydia Nugent

No, I called the track manager last Tuesday and he wasn't going to allow it, so I drove the '38 down and ran that 5 times. Slow, but better than nothing. The Chevelle should be there next year...:flag: |
Jamie's 55 and Albert's BB/GS Gasser would be a great match race. The Gassers!
|
This was my first time on the track since I had made a bunch of changes. Including swapping the Hilborn injection for a tunnel ram with two Holley 660s. This will allow me to drop from A gas to B on Dragweek. The best pass for me was a 10.97 at 125
The car has a little more in it if it can overcome the weak link of the driver. I had so much fun at the Reunion this year. Anyone who didn't make it should start making plans to be there next year. It will be our 25th and we already have some special thing planned! Jamie |
