OK, since we're throwing out personal preference-type issues, I'll go there:
1970-73 RS bumperettes on non-RS Camaros. I just dislike this look vehemently. No offense to anyone, just not my cup of tea. |

I think it's more disturbing that Lee has more posts in this thread than all of you combined :D
I'm beginning to wonder if he even enjoys himself at all when he goes to a car show lol |
poking fun at ya :beers:

I probably overreacted in my previous post but I take research very seriously when it comes to musclecars. The anomalies and human errors on the individual cars are what make them so interesting to me. Now with that said without vintage photos or known original cars that I have seen that way I would not have given it much thought or validity.

Just my thoughts -- so here goes. Parents take their children to car shows, etc. and that is great. However, some parents don't control these little people and they run amok. Now for my SAD experience. I had my 67' Corvette coupe in a car show, surrounded with plastic "chain", etc. I couple came to me and started talking about the car. Their little boy was with them and somewhat under their control, but before anyone could react, the little fart slipped under the chain, grabbed a hold of door mirror and tried to pull himself up so he could look inside the car. YUP -- broke the mirror off the door. DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do say this . . . it's more enjoyable and stress free when you just go then if you bring a car with you. |

Muscle cars with RWL tires that should have red lines (or in the case of this GTO Judge - blackwalls or white lines) |

But I do make an exception with the 1969 to 1971 Nova SS. I don't know why Chevy waited until 1972 to offer RWL tires on the Nova SS. They should have been standard (or at least an option) like they were on the Camaro SS and Chevelle SS. |

The last 2 years with wet springs and summers in my area, we missed about half or more of the shows. That got annoying.

Sometimes red heater hoses are correct as in the case of this Dick Harrell LS6 converted 70 Camaro. ;) Thanks to Chuck Sharin for the photo.

Really, lol. Never knew.

You cant complain at a test and tune night in staging, when 13sec street cars are slowing things down, you can't pick apart cars at show and shine events, lol. But yea, get the jest of the thread, all in fun |
On the camaro, looks like the valve covers off a 70 and newer and that return carb spring wow

My buddy made me do his 1970 Z engine detail. I need to post that up to see what I did wrong. On TA shakers, seals on on both ways from the factory, mine is upside down I’m told. I’ve never flipped it. You see both ways. The other way looks strange. |

K&n dirt sifters. Sifts the dirt straight into your carb. Lol. Yes, hate those. |

For 1970, LT1 Z, where does the carb spring go? We weren’t sure. I recently found my buddy the rear loom, it has provision for the spring. ???? |
You guys forgot one, the back seat full of trophy’s. And the cars a pc of crap lol.

1. Overstreached throttle spring hooked around mechanical temp gauge sender. 2. Weird routing of said temp gauge tube. 3. Funky plug wire holders. 4. Black paint over rusty headers. 5. Parts store batt cable ends with extra red wires to somewhere. 6. What's that red thing behind the battery, MSD? 7. Overflow hose loops around, to a catch can?? 8. Voltage regulator cover not black. 9. Fender, inside engine compartment, not body color. 10. If this is supposed to be a Z-28, shouldn't it have: a. Deep groove pulleys. b. Fan clutch. c. A 4 speed trans (It has a kick-down cable). 11. Hardware store P.S. adjuster bolt. 12. That's not a correct alt adjuster brace is it??? 13. Core support sticker?? 14. Dented up rad tank. How am I doing so far? Reminder that I am NOT a Camaro expert, just worked on them in the dealership decades ago. Bill W |
Wait minute, I just noticed that the air cleaner sticker says 350, but isn't the fender contour a '69 rather than a '70?? So, is it an SS with Z stripes??:hmmm:

It must not be HEI, cone to think about it my buddy ordered a stock Aircleaner and it wouldn’t fit with HEI. He was asking how caving in the back would look, I pointed to the garbage can full of stuff I took off, it’ll look like that. Lol. I found him a #’s. It was a mess. I took it to Master Works. It looked brand new then, and they set it up and ran it in a dist machine to break in the points. Love that place.
The pic with the pillow stuffing burnout is a classic. LmFao |

Z28
So what is the correct location of the 69 Z28 grille emblem?
