Copo_Cartel 06-26-2018 07:14 PM

I just got a phone call from the host hotel Holiday Inn on Wilkerson Trace in Bowling Green Kentucky and our deadline to take advantage of the discount expires this Friday, June 29 thank you everyone

R68GTO 06-29-2018 12:40 AM

1st timer looking for some info on SCR21.
Is there plenty of room for overnight parking a truck/trailer at the host hotel?
Do the cars stay overnight Friday night at the Corvette museum or do they need moved out Friday / back in Saturday?
My car is still in "as found" condition complete with fluid drips. Any issues with bringing the car into the museum?

Doug P., did you receive my registration?

Yes. the last two years we purchased fuel from the track.

69 Post Sedan 07-21-2018 11:16 PM

Perfect as I’ve heard the Turbo Blue fuel that’s in Janesville sucks. I plan on bumping up my timing and would like to get better fuel.

Thanks, Kurt

cook_dw 07-22-2018 01:06 AM

Renegade fuel is what BB sells/offers. It’s what I run when I mix some up. Good quality IMO.

big gear head 07-22-2018 03:13 AM

I made 10 passes at Bowling Green today. The car went straight every time and didn't have any of last year's problems. I figured out that I put the wrong gear in it, but I think I'm ready for Friday.

Alss 07-22-2018 11:04 AM

Car is ready..truck is ready..trailer is ready..just need some fuel as well! :) anyone else traveling from the northeast? Always looking to "tag" along. :)

Copo_Cartel 07-22-2018 12:00 PM

Albert...BB Benny is traveling down from the northeast as well. If you need his number give me a call Doug 614-203-1272. He is leaving Wednesday and stopping at my 2/3 way house.

Copo_Cartel 07-22-2018 12:01 PM

Freddie..what your MPH, RT, ET ?

big gear head 07-22-2018 01:08 PM

Reaction time? Ha, Rip Van Winkle took a shorter nap than I did at the light. ET was 11.62 at 117 MPH. I put a 4.86 in it and it needs a 5.43. I'll try to take care of that this winter. The new slicks took care of all the problems that I was having last year.

Copo_Cartel 07-22-2018 01:28 PM

Sounds like it is still pulling on the big end....we went back to a 4.10 because with the 4.56 it was out of steam and nosing over at 1100’ ...at that point it was just a boring ride.

big gear head 07-22-2018 06:37 PM

Yeah, just about 6100 RPM through the lights and still had a lot left.

Copo_Cartel 07-22-2018 10:33 PM

We run out of power at 6,500....per the dyno hits....and at 1100’ the light is on ...now...if we put a 150 shot that may put a smile on my face

Copo_Cartel 07-22-2018 10:35 PM

Does anyone have a phone number for Albert Galdi.....

kwhizz 07-22-2018 11:56 PM

Dru can't make it this year...…….. I'm bringing the COPO Pete Trophy with me....

SmallHurst 07-23-2018 03:38 AM

The car is already over halfway there!! I will be picking up my son and heading over early for a day at Holiday World... If anyone is needing trailer tires, I can get the new Goodyear Endurance... call 816-654-3400. See you guys there with a cooler full!!

Copo_Cartel 07-23-2018 10:45 AM

Ken.... just put the trophy in the front seat....leave the doors unlocked ...and tell me where you are parked...I will send Guido and Rocco to get it. Lol :naughty:

RST 07-24-2018 04:08 AM
