Cool license plates...
Below are a few I saw on eBay last night, some need the year area flattened and '69 or whatever decal added if wrong. I don't see the ad for the YS-2 plate now so if not ended already, hope it found its right home...especially being a '66 plate! There's a few more on right now I liked too but w/ bids so to be fair am not posting them otherwise a lot of pretty cool ones lately, usually cheap too. A few more cool random plates spotted in the crowd currently on eBay. Here are a few plates I have kept on my garage wall.
The first one I had on an 11-second street car I owned years ago. The Z06 plate I had on a Corvette I used to do a lot of track events with. The "AHP 062" came on a 62 Impala SS I bought years ago. Cool plates SCG and keep 'em coming if any more! Here's a few more spotted over on the 'Bay, the HP & DH also RB-302 maybe the coolest ones. Again a year decal or tab update would make all the difference as most are just cheap random plates. My '69 X33 coded Z28, sold at Courtesy Chevy in Ontario, is gonna love these! Now, hmmm, stroke that 302 to 340 inches is the game plan...

I still have these plates ...
picture from July 1974 at a 50's party at General Motors Institute my neighbor worked at the Secretary of State's office and pulled the plates out of sequence (before the real personalized plates) for me knowing I had a 302 in my 56 I have moved the Beach City Chevrolet frames to a deserving vehicle some time ago (from this site) I could probably be talked out of the plates :-) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...igreaser56.png |

I've noticed a lot of custom California black plates lately on LA craigslist. Somebody is ordering them and then trying to sell them off. They all seem to be geared towards muscle car combinations. I didn't think you could just order a plate from the DMV or AAA and sit on it. From what I understood it has to be assigned to a vehicle in a certain amount of time, otherwise you forfeit them. It's an interesting twist on somebody trying to make money. I would think if the State actually knew this was going on they would nix it. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif[/img]
