Yes but my car is not in the NICB </div></div> You should not assume this data is NICB, we have had numerous instances where the GM record is different than that received from NICB on the corvettes we have processed |

NCRS has no intention at this time of expanding the service to include other models of Chevrolet or other GM makes. |

Yes but my car is not in the NICB </div></div> That is what I was told on a 1967 years ago. I had it checked three different times by locals with no records found. Had the US DOJ in a FOIA tell me there were "no records". Later we found a person higher up within the NCIB that did a hand search of the microfiche and the record was recovered. I am not saying they have them all (there may be gaps) but they likely have most of them. |

Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
I bet the cars were insured between GM and delivery to the dealer. Heck, only a few dealers actually owned the majority of their inventory so they were probably insured for enough time to have a record- even cars which were not insured at the time of sale (if that was possible).

I do not know the process NICB had if the information became Submitted when the car was sold or if they became Submitted when the car was manufactured. There will be two 69 Yenko who is not in the NICB, which went as Race Cars, ive been told. |

Dear Niclas,
Thank you for your Shipping Data Report order number 13. Unfortunately, Chevy Muscle Docs could not find the requested information for the 1969 with VIN 124379N580532 in the GM Shipping Data Information. Reason: Unfortunately the GM records are missing information on this VIN |

Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Did any non USA-based owners have their country included in the shipping address contained in the e-mail confirmation that the report had shipped? (Not sure if it was just mine that didn't include it, but have contacted Roy to check the country is included on the address of the envelope).

Ok, thanks for confirming it wasn't just mine. I suspect the shipping notifications don't list the country below the city/state/zip because the default format for the email is for a USA address, unnecessary to include country. |
Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Just had confirmation from Roy, the address the report was mailed to included the country.

Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Sent in 4 requests today, 712, 713, 714, & 716. I know where my Deuce was sold new, but expect to see Yenko as the Dealer of Record on the search results.
Can't wait to see if Benjamin's Nova is from Sunderland Chevrolet - after several years of research, 4 title searches in 2 different states, and speaking with 3 different prior owners.... Also, anxiously looking forward to see where Danny's Camaro was sold new. I suspect it was somewhere in IL since there are registration decals on the windshield from IL for '71 or '73, but it came to PA from CT so who knows - I'm hoping it was sold new at Nickey! Also, sent in a request for a friend who has a HO '70 Z28. |

Based on the specified VIN range and Norwood as the identified plant, you shouldn't have a problem with Los built cars. |

Unfortunately no. The wait is killing me....I feel like a 10 year old on Christmas eve. order #'s 32 & 34 |
Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
Me too! I'm curious if they will only show the dealer code, or if they will provide the dealer name along with the code?
|
Re: NCRS Historical Document Services
My understanding is it will contain:
Production date Zone # Dealer# Name & address of dealer |
