Looks killer, Adam. Did you buy it back?

Slightly off topic but here's a '69 from Herb Hallman that still has its original dealer emblem on the trunk.

Beautiful end result.
But because it's a later April assembly,he might think about removing those under headlight accent strips.

Glad you guys saved this one. I "knew" of a original owner LS-6 that was rusting away. The owner knew what he had and raced it alot. Sent me a picture of a 12" wide tree growing up through it. It was Green with white strips, buckets console 4.10 car. Owner wouldn't sell and he died a while back in 2009 I believe. Told me "not worth saving this one"

And when he was racing it in the early '70's

SO YES there still out there! I think as the pictures I posted, this one is too. BUT it's too far gone to save

Absolutely amazing from the $2000 parts car I found on eBay and was almost lost forever.

Is that a record for LS6 coupe?

Code 26 Strato mist blue was a riviera color and a $100 extra cost option on A body . Buick only produced 50 at flint , 39 hardtops and 11 convertibles but that includes 455 and stage 1 cars .
Pretty Chevy , amazing a nom parts car can sell for 200K

Re: Help With Possible LS6 Chevelle

I read this thread from start to finish just now. . Killer find ,killer story, and a restoration that appears to be 2nd to done ! I realize it was a rust free, original sheet metal body, But I wonder if the buyer realizes or even cares what this car looked like a few years ago ? Im not hating on the car or seller !!! I wish this car was in my garage, But just seems for my money I would prefer a not so perfect nice survivor ? like I said not trying to be a dick, just my opinion
