Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Alan
You do realize we went overboard with this car. Its not everyday we put smog, dog dishes and NO slapper bars on anything we do. . Good luck with the sale. Joe (HO nova is still my favorite!) |
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova

Very nice. Really like the black top.Is this going to be at the Fred Gibb show/Monmouth?John
|
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
No, I think it will be gone by then. Are you bringing the new Nova down for the Gibb festivities?
|
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
I wish.Been real busy at the shop,no time to work on it. A few things are done. Will have it next year for sure. The Gibb/Monmouth show is one of my favorite out door shows. Will be there with the 69 l78 camaro. Never brought a car there before. John

You will be glad you did. It is a great show and some great people and well worth the drive. Come sit under the tent with us. You also might want to come the night before for the HUGE town cruise and street party in Monmouth. |

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Alan, is there a reason why you do not keep any of these great cars? Would kill me not to keep them for awhile and drive them a bit. Do you even see the finished product? Seems like as soon as Iowa Boys are done, they are gone in a flash! The ghosts of nova's past!
|
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
The ghosts of muscle cars sold were the blue mule and the 10-10 nova, although the greatest joy for me has always been saving a car that was going to die. Someone's gonna end up with one very nice nova!

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
I have to put in a plug for one of the site sponsors here. This was the 1st time we sent out a car with Reliable, and the couple who picked it up were the most professional, and easy to work with folks we've had the pleasure to work with. I would recommend them anytime.
Thanks to Alan for the work, and hope to do more projects on down the line. It's been a pleasure to work with you. We have no Novas in the shop now, just Camaros. Somebody send us a Nova before I get withdrawls. |
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
All of Alans cars I saw were very, very nice. Whoever bought/buys them got a great deal and very good workmanship IMO. Maybe Alan will send you a Deuce next.

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova

the nova is now sitting in wagners showroom, great service http://i617.photobucket.com/albums/t...n_wagners1.jpg http://i617.photobucket.com/albums/t...n_wagners2.jpg |
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Well, this story has a happy ending.......for me!! The car arrived safe and sound a few miles from the house. I knew this was a really nice car but didn't get the full impact until I saw it in person. Really nice work from Ken and the folks at Deuce Heaven.
