For those racing on Friday, please bring a helmet, shirt with sleeves and long pants. Also, if you will need to get fuel at the track, bring a container, as they cannot put fuel directly into your car.

Actually, we're planning on bringing Alan Forman's Grossman sold, L78 H/O Nova rather than a Deuce. Anyway, that's the plan. Where's the crossed finger gramlin? |

SYC Members - related to the SYC show, i regret to say that we cannot get a full load to transport our cars to the show to take advantage of the great deal Reliable has put together for us.
It is a big dissapointment for us, but we are already starting the process to try this again for the Nov show in Chicago. We have contacted Bob Ashton and he is assisting us with getting a full load of 6 cars so we can make the event. Thanks to everyone for their efforts in trying to make this happen. From the list of attendee's and cars, this looks to be another great show. Thanks again....Ed and Sam |

I just called the Double Tree and somehow they had me down for reserving 3 rooms. I only need 1 so I canceled the other 2. I don't know how full they are but if someone needs a room or 2 for Thursday night, as of this morning (Aug 31) 2 more are available.

Just received word, that do to some minor heath concerns, Donna Mae will be unable to attend this year's reunion. She was very disapointed that she had to decline, and said to tell everyone to look for her at future sYc events.

Looking forward to the next show though - I need a fix, I haven't even been to the drag strip this year as a spectator, and the only show was Brian's gathering at Carlisle - which I came/went based on my work schedule. It's a tough balance these days for sure. The good news is that I have plenty of resto projects to keep me busy, oh wait - I've not worked on them this year either....
