Hey...Thanks for the great photos! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

If you guys didn't bother to read the sign on "Joe's Nova", you'd better go back and read it. He explains a life-long love affair with ONE car very well........and I know exactly what's he's talking about!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif

If ever I had the plastic fantastic, this would be a top choice. I love the milktoast interior. Does anyone know the real color name?

thanks Bruce for the National coverage https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...BruceRocks.gif

Yeah, how about because it was uncorked! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif what a nut. The maroon Vette and both of the novas were neat cars too. Bruce, great seeing you and have a safe drive home. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...BruceRocks.gif

Bruce, It was nice meeting you and hearing that you remembered my car from the '80's!! Thanks for the kind words. Anyway, I don't know if my car deserves being on this cool site, but if anyone wants to see/read more about it they can check it out here - Nova Joe's Garage. I've also taken the liberty to post a picture from Lion's Dragstrip, "back in the day".
Thanks again, Joe

Welcome Joe. And just for the record, I think your Nova is more than deserving! Evidently one of our more prominent members agrees! Bring her to Rosemont, IL in November and I guarantee you'll meet a BIG group of folks who will appreciate her as much as you obviously do. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif

Joe,

The pleasure was all mine! You see, I fell in love with your car the first time I saw it in the 80's. I thought it was soooo cool to have an original paint Nova...and I remember talking to you then and you telling me that you were the original owner as well. The tow tabs sent me over the edge! (All three things were burned into my memory forever)

I dug out one of my photo albums...and could only find one picture from a distance of your car...when it had the "other" wheels on it!

I'll have to search for the rest of them as time permits.

For now...here is the one that I found!

And here was my Nova at the same show...it was nothing special...but it was a blast (had a BB Chevy). It started out life as an inline 6...LOL

And here are a conglomeration of time slips from OCIR...boy, I didn't have a clue as to how to run a car consistently! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif
