Dan, I was of course interested in seeing the WHITE L-78 70 Camaro(saw the 6500/700 tach). Do you happen to know what RPO the Hugger Orange L-78 was ?????

I am forwarding this thread onto Mike S who is trying to gather info for the 70 Camaro L-78 registry

Interested to know the bio on Ray Skillman

Makes Kevin Suydams collection look small!

Thanks so much for sharing. I gather this is never open to the common folk ???????

Re: Ray Skillman Collection

Its my understanding he is the owner of several car dealerships in the Indy area and loves 60s muscle cars and started this classic car sales/collection and sells about 75 to 100 muscle cars a year out of this collection. He also restores them as well. He is restoring a 67 Shelby GT 500 right now I am told. I watched him buy a bunch of cars at the fall Mecum event last year in St. Charles.

I would give anything to walk through that collection. Talk about having a one or two of everything.

That really is one impressive collection.
Nice touch w/the mannequins and that Dog'n Suds sign sure brings back some memories..
Looks like he acquired Georges' FG Chevelle too.

Re: Ray Skillman Collection

When you look at his web site you will see alot if not all these cars are for sale. And yes he appears to own a lot of dealerships in the INdy area. Kudo's to him for the way he presents his collection. I thought I recognises some of his inventory as being "auction fresh".
