Re: 69 chevelle
With your updated info (no winters, always stored inside and covered, car still very nice), and assuming there are no docs, I will guess $32 - $37K. If you truly believe that you're going to keep it this time (as opposed to buying it and then flipping it as soon as the old 'sentimentality' wears thin) then you might add on another $5 - $8K. As Sam has indicated, the fact that it's a true two owner car, you bought it new and have known the car it's entire lifetime is pretty much priceless https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

back in 71 that 2800 bucks was a down payment on a house [/ QUOTE ] Yep, I hear ya, and I'm sure there are plenty more of us here that did something very similar https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/crazy.gif But in this instance, you're one of the very few who gets a chance to make amends for past mistakes https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif Given two build sheets, I'd say you could drop $50K on it and go to bed smiling every night. Has your friend given you a price yet? Am I in the ballpark? |
