What colour are the other Canadian ones that are accounted for?

Re: 69 COPO Chevelle's @ Barrett Jackson
To set the story straight:
Dick Irwin purchased the Mander dealership in (approx.) January of 1969. This 4-speed COPO Chevelle was ordered by Mander in October of '68 and delivered to Irwin in August '69. The new staff at Irwin were not even aware of what this car was and it was sold as a non-SS 396-375 HP. |
Re: 69 COPO Chevelle's @ Barrett Jackson

Re: 69 COPO Chevelle's @ Barrett Jackson
I have at least 25 imported Canadian Copo Chevelles listed. At least 1/2 of them have been accounted for. The colors include Frost Green, Daytona yellow, Lemans blue, Fathom green, Garnet red, Cortez Silver and Burgandy.

Re: 69 COPO Chevelle's @ Barrett Jackson
The guy that first told us about the COPO option, told us that 18 were ordered for Canada, 5 were cancelled due to the long wait. Obviously there were a lot more than 13. Another guy claims to have information on 29 of the 30 that came into Canada. Who knows. Beare Motors sold two cortez silver Chevelles and one monaco orange.
