Yes Bruce, I was lucky enough to be able to buy it back. Some cars you regret selling my problem is it ends up being most of them.

Al, in my mind you will always be remembered for building one of the coolest cars ever. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Re: Spring Chevy/Vettefest

Time to bop this one up again.

We have an awesome array of LS6's signed up already.

Let's fill the front sYc block again with a fine representation of sYc Supercar members rides!

Judged or Non Judged is welcome. As an sYc Member with TC's approval, you are an "Invited Guest" and if you are a Non Comp, there is no fee.

Bring 'em on!

Re: Spring Chevy/Vettefest

I have never attended this event before, but with the two members putting together (possibly the largest)display of both LS6 Chevelles and LS6 Corvettes all in one place, I am definitely comming!
Is this convention site near the DoubleTree Hotel? Is O'Hare the airport that one would want to fly in to? Will all the LS6 entrants be staying at a certain hotel? I am very much looking forward to meeting first hand several of the members and their cars. Should one be there on Friday as well? Thanks for any assistance with these questions, I certainly want to be in the "thick of things" with fellow members and their cars. Thanks, Warren

Re: Spring Chevy/Vettefest

-----Warren,,,I think you are correct on all counts. The only thing I can think of is that LS6 guys will probably stay all over the place but we will all get together for chow and cold ones!!! I will look forward to running into you at the show so we can catch up.......Bill S

Re: Spring Chevy/Vettefest

Warren;

The DoubleTree is indeed right across the street and is also the home of a great steakhouse. Our special Chevy Vettefest rate is $99 and it is really a nice hotel and very convenient. A majority of the out of town participants stay here, but there is quite a variety of other hotels in the area that are also convenient.

YES, you want to fly in to O'Hare,(NOT Midway) as it is literally about a mile from the Convention Center. No need to rent a car, either take the Hotel shuttle or a quick 5 minute cab ride.

Any other questions, feel free to give me a call (248) 373-1700 or e-mail [email protected]

THANKS;

Bob Ashton
